In Western maritime culture, knots were seen as symbols of protection and good fortune. When I created this Clove Hitch pendant, I didn’t know that — but intuitively, that was the impulse. It became a kind of talisman, naturally.
This is a small version of the Ballestrinque pendant — the Clove Hitch knot, finished in my own way.
